I was born in Milan on the first of May 1988.
Growing up I split my time between Florence and Milan and developed a passion for literature and theatre.
In 2010 I graduated in Drama and Theatre Arts (BA Hons) from Goldsmiths, University of London. In 2011 I was admitted into L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq  in Paris, which I attended for one year.
During my studies I adopted many bad habits, but luckily I never lost one of the few good ones I had: writing.

My first novel, “Teo”, is published in Italy (Einaudi, 2014), Germany (Dtv, 2015), Korea (Open Books, 2015) and Spain (Ediciones Siruela, 2016).  “Teo” won the following awards: Rhegium Julii Opera Prima 2014, Premio Seminara Opera Prima 2014, Premio Khilgren Opera Prima 2015 and “Young Jury Award 2015” at Literaturhaus in Vienna.
My first play, "If not today, eventually", was on at the Etcetera Theatre Camden, 13-18 September 2016.
My new novel, "La felicità è una storia semplice" came out in February 2017 in Italy, for Einaudi Stile Libero.
